MELBOURNE, Australia, March 15 (TNSres) -- The Australian Conservation Foundation issued the following news release:
Australia is underreporting methane emissions from its fossil fuel sector by at least 64%, the latest update of the International Energy Agency's Global Methane Tracker shows.
The data, published last night, found Australia was responsible for 1.5% of global methane emissions in 2023, even though we have only 0.33% of the world's population.
