TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma, March 13 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news on March 12, 2024:
This week the Cherokee Nation and state of Oklahoma officially entered into a tribal-state compact governing tobacco sales.
The compact will extend until March 1, 2034.
