WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Rep. Mike Thompson, D-California, issued the following news release on March 11, 2024:

Today, Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04), Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA), Rep. Ken Calvert (CA-41), and Rep. Doug LaMalfa (CA-01) sent a letter to the House Committee on Agriculture and the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry urging the committees to include permanent disaster assistance for agricultural producers and communities in the upcoming Farm Bill.
