SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, March 9 -- Illinois Stewardship Alliance issued the following news on March 8, 2024:
On Wednesday, the U.S. House passed the first half of their FY2024 budget legislation package.
Draft text was released over the weekend and Congressional Leaders promised swift passage. Included is $26 billion for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
The Senate has until midnight tonight to pass it and send it to President Biden to sign into law.< . . .
