WASHINGTON, March 8 -- Rep. Daniel Webster, R-Florida, issued the following news release on March 7, 2024:
Today, the House passed H.R. 7511, the Laken Riley Act, legislation cosponsored by Rep. Webster. The Laken Riley Act requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to issue a detainer for illegal aliens who are charged or cited with local theft or burglary.
