WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
Today, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Chair of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, held an executive session to vote on the nomination of Dr. Ron Borzekowski, of Maryland, to be Director, Office of Financial Research, Department of the Treasury.
Dr. Borzekowski's nomination was advanced by a vote of 12-11.
