WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Sen. Laphonza Butler, D-California, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Laphonza Butler and Alex Padilla (both D-Calif.) introduced legislation to place approximately 172 acres of land into trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village. Representative Darrell Issa (R-Calif.-48) is leading companion legislation in the House of Representatives.
