WASHINGTON, March 1 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
MADISONVILLE, La. - Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced $8,352,876 in a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant for Louisiana disaster aid.
"Hurricane Laura rocked southwest Louisiana and the facilities that provide folks with electricity. This $8.3 million will help cover the cost of getting the local electric . . .
