WASHINGTON, March 1 -- Rep. Mark Alford, R-Missouri, issued the following news release on Feb. 29, 2024:
Earlier today, Congressman Alford (MO-04) sent a letter the United States Postal Service (USPS) Postmaster General Louis DeJoy concerning recent mail delivery delays in Missouri. Specifically, the letter asks:
* What specific strategies are the USPS implementing to assist local Post Offices, particularly those in rural areas, in resolving the current backlog of mail? . . .
