WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 -- The National Park Service Big South Fork issued the following news release on Feb. 27, 2024:
Today, the National Park Service announced that 400 national parks reported a total of 325.5 million visits in 2023, an increase of 13 million or 4 percent over 2022. Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area experienced continued high visitation in 2023. Last year, 766,000 visitors decided to experience the park.
