NORTHRIDGE, California, Feb. 27 -- Rep. Brad Sherman, D-California, issued the following news release:
On February 24th, Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-32) joined TreePeople, one of the largest environmental organizations headquartered in Southern California, at their annual "Fruit Tree Adoption" event and presented a check for over $1 million in federal funding that he secured in order to help support efforts by TreePeople to protect and preserve our local environment.
