WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 -- Rep. Jimmy Panetta, D-California, issued the following news release:
United States Representatives Jimmy Panetta (CA-19) and Mike Thompson (CA-04), along with 13 other Members of the California delegation led a letter to California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) President Alice Bushing Reynolds urging CPUC to reject AT&T's petition to end access to landline services.
AT&T has requested to be relieved of its Carrier of Last Resort . . .
