LAWRENCE, Kansas, Feb. 23 (TNSres) -- The University of Kansas issued the following news:
Most of the water in Kansas, especially in the western part of the state, comes from a vast network of underground aquifers. In an agriculture-heavy state suffering from years of prolonged drought, it is crucial that the water available is used sustainably. A necessary piece of that sustainable use is having good monitoring data to understand water quality, water quantity and water use.
