WASHINGTON, Feb. 21 -- Sen. Charles E. Grassley, R-Iowa, issued the following news release:
CHICKASAW COUNTY, IOWA - U.S. Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.) introduced legislation to permanently authorize the Undetectable Firearms Act, which President Reagan first enacted in 1988 and Congress has renewed three times since. The bill makes it illegal to manufacture, own or sell firearms that do not contain enough metal to set off walk-through metal detectors or x-ray . . .
