Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) released the following statements, condemning the recently announced Capital One-Discover merger and calling for the deal to be blocked. Senator Hawley also renewed his push to cap credit card interest rates at 18 percent to provide relief for working Americans.
