MELBOURNE, Florida, Feb. 17 -- The city of Melbourne issued the following news on Feb. 16, 2024:
The Melbourne Fire Department Awards and Promotional Ceremony was held on February 9 to honor Melbourne firefighters for their exceptional skills, teamwork and compassion. Employees earning promotions were also recognized, and new firefighters were sworn in and formally welcomed to the department.
