OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, Feb. 15 -- The Oklahoma State Senate issued the following news release:
Sen. George Burns, R-Pollard, has introduced Senate Bill 1275 to safeguard the future of state parks across the state. The measure aims to ensure that the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission must receive legislative approval before taking any action that may result in the termination, cancellation, or non-renewal of a lease for real property where a state park is located.
