U.S. Representative Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) today introduced the Election Day Holiday Act, legislation that will make Election Day a federal holiday.
Voter turnout in the United States has been consistently among the lowest of established democracies around the world. The U.S. ranks just 23rd in voter turnout out of 38 Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) . . .
