COLUMBIA, Missouri, Feb. 14 -- The University of Missouri issued the following news release:

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) has recognized the University of Missouri Police Department (MUPD) with an Advanced Meritorious Law Enforcement Reaccreditation with Excellence. MUPD has been accredited with CALEA since March 2001.
