WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news:
Bill Eigel, state senator and Republican candidate for governor in Missouri, is coming under fire for leading the charge to strike down amendments that would create exceptions for rape and incest under the state's current extreme abortion ban.
The amendments were introduced in an effort to help protect child rape and incest survivors 12 years old and younger get access to the care . . .
