ATLANTA, Georgia, Feb. 9 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia issued the following news release:
John J. Woods has been sentenced to nearly eight years in federal prison for operating a 13-year Ponzi scheme that victimized more than 400 investors and caused a loss of over $49 million.
