WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- Rep. Greg Pence, R-Indiana, issued the following news release on Feb. 7, 2024:
Today, Congressman Greg Pence (R-IN-06) voted in favor of H.R. 485, the Protecting Health Care for All Patients Act. This legislation bans Quality-Adjusted Life Years (QALYs) and other similar measures from being used in federal health care programs, which will decrease the likelihood that these programs are able to discriminate against people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. . . .
