TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 7 -- Gov. Laura Kelly, D-Kansas, issued the following news release on Feb. 6, 2024:
Governor Laura Kelly today announced a Governor's Budget Amendment to her Fiscal Year 2025 budget proposal to invest over $23 million for the Intellectual/Developmental Disability (I/DD) and Physical Disability (PD) waivers, creating 250 new slots for each.
With this investment, 500 more Kansans with disabilities will receive critical services such as in-home ca . . .
