OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, Feb. 7 -- The Oklahoma State Senate issued the following news release on Feb. 6, 2024:
Sen. George Young has announced he will step down from his Senate District 48 seat effective Nov. 15, 2024. Young, D-Oklahoma City, was first elected to the Oklahoma House in 2014 and then to the Senate in 2018.
