WASHINGTON, Feb. 7 -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury's U.S. Mint issued the following news release on Feb. 6, 2024:
The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Silver Medal will be available for purchase directly from the United States Mint (Mint) starting on February 13 at noon EST. Hayes was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 19th President of the United States from 1877 to 1881, after serving in the U.S. House of Representatives and as Governor of Ohio.
