WASHINGTON, Feb. 3 -- Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Florida, issued the following news release on Feb. 2, 2024:
Today, nearly 300 creators across the music and TV/film industries signed an open letter in USA Today backing Reps. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) and Madeleine Dean (D-PA)'s No AI FRAUD Act (H.R. 6943). This would be the first federal piece of legislation to pass Congress that provides an individual right to our voice and likeness while providing the necessary tools to fight AI . . .
