JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas, Feb. 1 -- The U.S. Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (16th Air Force) issued the following news:

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, Lousiana -

One of the most highly decorated African American soldiers to serve in World War I was stationed at Barksdale Field, Lousiana, in 1932.
