WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) are pressing the Department of Defense on its apparent purchase of sanctioned Russian oil as revealed by recent reporting. As the Senators write, the Department of Defense has paid Motor Oil Hellas, a Greek refinery, more than $1.1 billion since 2019 - even though a majority of Motor Oil Hellas's fuel oil comes from a Turkish shippin . . .
