BECKLEY, West Virginia, Nov. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration issued the following news release on Nov. 29, 2023:
Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Raleigh County Memorial Airport prevented a Wyoming County, W.Va., man from carrying his loaded gun onto a flight yesterday, Nov. 28. The .32 caliber handgun was not loaded.
It was the second gun that TSA officers have detected at the airport . . .
