WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
A bipartisan bill cosponsored by U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen to authorize the U.S. Department of the Treasury to mint commemorative coins in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Marine Corps in 2025 was signed into law. The coins will be manufactured at no extra cost to taxpayers and proceeds from coin sales will support efforts to preserve and share the branch& . . .
