WASHINGTON, Nov. 3 (TNSPol) -- The Environmental Defense Fund issued the following news release on Nov. 1, 2021:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today proposed historic climate and health protections to strengthen and expand limits on methane pollution from the oil and gas industry. For the first time, EPA's proposal would extend pollution standards to the nation's fleet of existing oil and gas well sites, in addition to strengthening rules for new facilities.
