WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, Oct. 2 -- The U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson Air Force Base issued the following news on Sept. 30, 2021:

Wright-Patterson Medical Center will begin administering the single Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 booster shot to eligible beneficiaries.
Commercially known as Comirnaty, the Pfizer vaccine is also the only one approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
