LEIPZIG, Germany, Aug. 25 -- The European Energy Exchange issued the following news release on Aug. 24, 2021:
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) today published the prospective 2021 schedule for sell-offs for the national Emissions Trading System ("nEHS") in coordination with the German Federal Environment Agency. With the introduction of the nEHS at the beginning of 2021 a CO2 price for the heat and transport sectors is set at a national level for the first time.
