LEIPZIG, Germany, Aug. 5 -- The European Energy Exchange issued the following news release:
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) is set to start the admission process for the sell-off of nEHS certificates within the national Emissions Trading Scheme ("nEHS") in coordination with the German Federal Environment Agency. The instrument will set a CO2 price for the heat and transport sectors at a national level for the first time with sales via EEX to be launched in October 2021. . . .
