FRANKFORT, Kentucky, March 26 -- The Kentucky National Guard issued the following news:
In August 1916, the entire Kentucky National Guard was federalized and ordered to the U.S.--Mexico Border, no provision was made to protect the citizens or property of the Commonwealth in case of any internal strife or natural disaster which might occur.
