Air Force Life Cycle Management Center: Directorate Led Team Repairs Damaged T-1s

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, March 25 -- The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center issued the following news:

Several years ago, 39 T-1 Jayhawks assigned to the 47th Flying Training Wing, were severely damaged when a hail storm swept through Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas.

Unable to fly, the aircraft - used for advanced pilot training - were grounded for repairs.
