WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, March 9 -- The U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson Air Force Base issued the following news:

Master Sgt. Monique Tyler was in disbelief to learn she had been picked as Wright-Patterson Air Force Base's Senior Non-commissioned Officer of the Year.

"My initial reaction to learning I had won was a wave of shock and disbelief," she said. "I was also amazed, thankful and humbled by the fact I had been chosen for this award."
