WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, issued the following news release on Nov. 20:
Today, U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) expressed disappointment that the U.S. Air Force did not select Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Dayton, Ohio as a finalist for the headquarters for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) but still believes that Wright-Patterson is highly competitive for future mission assignments because of its strategic location and world-class workforce . . .
