WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio, Feb. 28 -- The U.S. Air Force issued the following news:
Flames rose 10-12 feet into the air from the tinder-dried prairie grasses growing on Huffman Prairie across the fence from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. It was just a matter of yards from the wooden replica of the hangar the Wright brothers built to protect some of the first airplanes ever built.
