WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 -- Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, issued the following statement receiving the 19th Annual Leadership Service Award from the Waterways Council, for his leadership and commitment to inland waterways:
"Waterways are a vital and often unseen mode of our nation's infrastructure," Inhofe said. "I am proud to highlight how waterways complement road and bridge infrastructure, driving economic expansion and job growth in communities across Oklahoma . . .
