Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper announced that the president has made the following nominations:

Air Force Col. Jason E. Bailey has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Bailey is currently serving as the director, Checkmate Division, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
