FRANKFORT, Kentucky, Feb. 4 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC) has granted Duke Energy Kentucky, Inc. a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to bid on a franchise offered by the city of Fairview for electric and natural gas service. The order, issued on January 29, 2025, authorizes Duke Kentucky to participate in the bidding process for the right to provide transmission and distribution services within Fairview's city limits.
