EPA Approves Revisions to Jefferson County's Open Burning Rules
WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 (TNSFR) -- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized its approval of several revisions to the Jefferson County portion of the Kentucky State Implementation Plan (SIP), which addresses air quality regulations in the region. The changes, submitted by the Kentucky Division for Air Quality (KDAQ) on behalf of the Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District, are set to enhance the control of open burning within the area.
