KENOSHA, Wisconsin, Oct. 3 -- Carthage College issued the following news: * * * Augie Schmidt IV, a Carthage legend and the driving force behind the College's baseball program for nearly four decades, announced he will retire after the 2025 season. * * * Coach Schmidt joined the Carthage coaching staff in 1987, becoming head coach in 1988.
