BALTIMORE, Maryland, July 26 -- Baltimore Gas and Electric, a subsidiary of Exelon, issued the following news release:
BGE is awarding $234,000 in BGE Community Safety Grants to 48 nonprofit organizations. This new grant program focuses on helping local non-profits promote safety and resiliency within our communities and is an evolution of the Emergency Response and Safety Grants program, which provided over $3 million to 594 emergency response programs during the past 11 years.
