MONTPELIER, Vermont, May 18 -- Gov. Phil Scott, R-Vermont, issued the following news release on May 17, 2024:
Governor Phil Scott today announced that Secretary Kristin Clouser will be leaving her role leading the Agency of Administration next week.

Vt. U.S. Attorney: Deven Moffitt of Bennington Convicted of Federal Gun and Drug Charges
BURLINGTON, Vermont, May 17 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Vermont issued the following news release:
The United States Attorney for the District of Vermont announced that yesterday, Deven Moffitt, 33, of Bennington, Vermont was convicted in U.S. District Court in Burlington of three drug and gun charges after a four-day jury trial. U.S. District Judge Christina Reiss ordered that Moffitt remain in jail pending sentencing, which has been scheduled for November 15, 2024.
