WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, March 2 -- The U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center issued the following news: A coronavirus is a type of common virus that can cause illnesses such as the common cold, severe acute respiratory syndrome and Middle East respiratory syndrome, or SARS and MERS respectively. In early 2020, after a December 2019 outbreak in China, the World Health Organization identified SARS-CoV-2 as a new type of coronavirus. The disease it causes is called coronavirus 2019 or COVID-19.  more
