WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, July 22 -- The U.S. Air Force (88th Air Base Wing) issued the following news: Chief Master Sgt. Jason Q. Shaffer has been selected as the new 88th Air Base Wing command chief at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and will begin his official duties July 21. Shaffer, who has been serving as the security forces manager, 6th Security Forces Squadron, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida, will replace Chief Master Sgt. Stephen Arbona, who is retiring with almost 30 years of service.  more
